This is a simple way to operate your switch machines with minimal wiring. The Hankscraft motor is attached to a Rix Rax 2 mounting bracked. A small resistor is soldered in line to cut the voltage down to around 3-volts to protect the HC switch machine. The leads are run to two small bolts or whatever you want to use for a contact. A 9-volt battery is used on the outside of the layout to throw the machine. Just flip the battery over to throw the other way.
